About Us

Our philosophy is to develop fully integrated mechanical and technological systems.

LEAF provides a full range of MEP/T services

LEAF Engineers was established in 2002, originally operating as PBK Engineers. The firm has grown to a staff of 80+ and has completed over 3,000 projects for 75 different clients across seven states. LEAF’s core business includes mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, technology consulting engineering, low voltage, and fire protection. Our firm also offers LEED consulting services, energy modeling services, third-party energy code compliance services, energy audits, and the production of sustainable-designed buildings with low utility consumption and extensive automation for ease of operation. Our engineers have expertise in all types of building systems including educational facilities, office, and work environments, laboratories, athletic venues, and municipal and government facilities. Our experience spans master plans of a few thousand square feet to over one million square feet.

We design systems for new developments and provide assessments and analysis for existing facilities.
We also provide on-site and post-occupancy services during construction administration, such as measurement verification and building commissioning. LEAF is recognized by the AABC Commissioning Group as a well-qualified provider of commissioning services.

Integrated design comes from exceptional collaboration

Our philosophy is to develop fully integrated mechanical and technological systems with a multi-disciplinary skill set. Integrated teams foster close working relationships and encourage the prompt resolution of problems as they arise.

There is a high-performance team behind each great building. Our teams have exceptional individuals with a deep understanding and respect for each other’s strengths. We strive for dual functionality, resulting in reduced installation time, reduced costs, and a leading, energy-efficient automated facility.

We believe in the power of design

Too many buildings are not meeting design performance goals or life cycle savings, often resulting in inefficient operations on a day-to-day basis. LEAF utilizes proprietary tools as a conduit to help identify these failures and help close the gap.

LEAF’s energy performance consultants assist clients in exploring various financing options available and help them navigate through the process and guarantee maximum benefit. Our design specialists deliver energy-efficient solutions that have a positive impact on annual energy costs. Life Cycle Analysis is implemented to determine a project-level return on investment. When utilized, the ROI tool can:

    – Analyze expected versus savings throughout the project life cycle
    – Become a decision-aid for comparative benefit analysis
    – Capture behavioral and consumption differences between various space types
    – Benchmark various projects based on state, climate zone, certification type, etc.

  • Our Mission

To Deliver Platinum-Level Customer Service While Generating World-Class Design Solutions That Are Functional, Sustainable And Highly Responsive To End-User Performance.

Our team operates on a diehard “Can Do” business philosophy that emphasizes LEAF’s “soul” personality — we go “above and beyond” the call of duty to ensure our clients get the best possible service in the industry.
