LEAF completed the HVAC renovation for The Center for Advanced Research and Technology (CART) campus, a collaborative high school campus owned by Clovis and Fresno Unified School Districts. Our project involved upgrading the Central Plant with new pump replacements, adding VFD Drives, and converting to a Variable Flow System. We evaluated and updated the campus’s piping system to accommodate the increased flow demands of the renovated and new fan coils. Additionally, we updated the Campus EMS System to align with current district standards.

CART represents a groundbreaking partnership between two school districts, higher education, the business community, and government, addressing the community’s demand for advanced technological training. The campus offers a diverse curriculum in agriculture, biotechnology, chemical technology, engineering, environmental technology, financial technology, manufacturing, multimedia technology, telecommunications, and logistics & spatial information technology. Designed with a project-based approach, CART attracts intelligent and motivated students who thrive outside traditional instructional models.
