Our LEAF Rancho Cucamonga location worked with Fontana Unified Schools on a “”Back to School Readiness Plan”” as the district prepared to have students and teachers come back to school. With districts around the state determining how to safely open facilities for a modified instructional program, many districts were looking for firms to help them understand what steps can be taken to make sure their buildings meet all Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines as well as local state and city recommendations.
LEAF worked with the Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH) in publications to help districts understand all of the recommendations but also provide “”Readiness Checklists”” to ensure their facilities are as safe and clean as possible for the upcoming school year.
LEAF worked with Fontana USD on understanding the “”Readiness Checklists”” with respect to the verification of existing HVAC equipment, filtration and control systems throughout the district.
Fontana Unified School District is located in Fontana, California and currently has 45 campuses serving almost 37,000 students. The district is located approximately 50 miles east of Los Angeles and is nationally recognized for their fast growth and student achievement.
