LEAF provided engineering design services for a new middle school in Hardin Jefferson ISD. This is a unique project because this is a replacement school for the existing middle school that was flooded during Hurricane Harvey in 2017. The district, PBK and LEAF worked with FEMA for two years to finalize funding for the new campus which will be housed at the previous middle school site.
Existing middle school students were housed in portable buildings for the past two years so the district was extremely excited to for the design and construction of the new campus. LEAF has previously designed a new elementary school and high school for the district as well as several smaller renovation projects.
