LEAF worked on MEP design services for a new NMR Lab at the University of California, Berkeley campus. The project is a team effort with our PBK WLC Berkeley office.

The design scope of the project is the design of several lab spaces such as “”clean rooms””, quantum microscope lab, microfluidics quantum lab, wet labs and engineering labs.

The lab is the brain child of chemist Ashok Ajoy, Ph.D., graduate of MIT who specializes in nanoscale spectroscopy and quantum computing at the nanoscale. The lab will center around providing quantum control methods for exploiting entanglement to push the limits of spectroscopy towards single-molecule levels.
