Construction has recently been completed on the new STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Building for the College of the Mainland.
Specific Lab Classrooms for: Nursing, Physical Therapy, Surgical Tech, Radiology (with x-ray machine), Chemistry, Anatomy, Biology, Geology, Physics, Computer Science, Video/ Audio Production, Drafting, and Information Technology 100 seat Large Group Instruction area.
Built simultaneously with COM’s new Administration Building and a complete renovation of the existing Central Plant
The STEAM building is one of several new buildings included in a $162M Bond that passed in 2018, allowing the College to build and expand facilities that were identified as needs in COM’s COMPASS 2025 strategic plan. PBK, LEAF, BEAM, and DIG originally performed the Facilities Assessment for the College in 2015.
